It is an installation consisting of 5 figure shaped statues that are filled with amps and speakers. Each statue has two line inputs. The actual speakers are multidirectional. The idea is that a music composer/musician/performer/artist can directly connect a sequencer (software or hardware) to the 10 soundcard inputs that are with the system, to send different outputs to different statues. The effect is that each instrument/score/sound has a direction. The speakers itself are custom build by a PA builder.
Originally the project was called ‘The Band’, as a reference to a live performance of a band from the ’60 when each band member had its own amp system.

15x 6″ /1″ monitor > 46hz-40kHz -3dB – +/- 110/115 dB cont/ max
1×7″/1″ monitor > 40hz-40kHz -3dB – +/- 110/115 dB cont/ max
4×12″ sub > 40hz-300Hz -3dB – +/- 120/126 dB cont/ max
It has been controlled in the past by Ableton or Logic through a Tascam 10/10 audio card, but can have a different set up of course.
